git-build-recipe software package provides construct a Git branch from a recipe, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install git-build-recipe
git-build-recipe is installed in your system.
Make ensure the git-build-recipe package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep git-build-recipe *
You will get with git-build-recipe package name, version, architecture and description in a table
